It's nearly a year since my lovely boyfriend took me away to New York! It was the second time I had been and by far the best.  The city is phenomenal and the fashion is sensational! Two of my most favourite TV programmes are/were filmed in this city - Gossip Girl and Sex and the City which has made me love New York even more and has definately inspired me in the sense of fashion.  Finally put my pictures from my camera onto my new laptop so here, i'll share just some of my favourites! (some may be edited!)

Not so long ago, I became hooked on lipsticks and different shades they come in.  Since then, it's not very often i'll go without wearing it!  My favourites have been Barry M and Kate Moss' range for Rimmel.  I love bold colours such as red against really simple make up.

For this post, I'm talking pastels!! Along with tribal prints, orange and bold colours, pastels were another big trend for S/S.  I really like this trend and love the pieces I have seen on the high street especially ice blue, peach and mint colours.  I thought I'd show some colours used on the catwalk then find similar pieces from the high street meaning a much more reasonable price!

Another Monday more or less over! Just wanted to share my bargain with you! It's a really cute brooch I got in the Dorothy Perkins sale a few months ago for about, £1.50.  It's got some really pretty colours and reflects really well in the light! Definately makes an outfit that bit more jazzy!

Had a lovely weekend, but can't believe how quick it goes! Didn't do a lot, other than worked and catched up on sleep but had a nice family get together today in this nice weather! Since I knew I would be wanting to eat a lot, I kept my outfit pretty baggy! I haven't worn the shirt for months and after of having a moment of 'I have no clothes!!!!' I thought I would bring it out of my wardrobe.  I actually forgot how much I liked it, especially with the gorgeous embroidery which I have taken a closer picture of for you to see.  So, I was pretty vain and took some pictures to show my outfit and since learning a lot of editing techniques in Visual Merchandising I wanted to practice them!

Marni for H&M

Hi there! I thought for my first ever post as 'ImageGirl', I would have my post about the Marni collection who have collaborated with H&M.  I adore so many of the pieces, and much prefer this collection to the Versace range seen earlier this year.  It's very chic, bold and versatile.  I will definately try and nab some pieces, but unfortunately the one day i'm not on Oxford Street, is the day the collection welcomes the public! Ive posted an image of my favourite outfit, a hot trend which has also been in the Stella McCartney collection and Jonathan Saunders'.
